White Fish with Macadamia Salsa Recipe

White Fish with Macadamia Salsa

Ingredients Needed:

  • ¼ cup macadamia nuts, halved
  • 3 Tbs of freshly chopped cilantro
  • 1 lb of fresh white fish fillets
  • 1 Tbs of fresh olive oil
  • 1 seeded, peeled, and diced avocado
  • 1 chopped medium tomato
  • 3 Tbs of fresh chopped parsley
  • Creates two servings.

Cooking Directions:

1. Heat up your grill using the medium heat setting. (You may also use a broiler pan with high heat if you prefer it over grilling.)

2. Take this time to season your fish with some light sea salt and fresh ground pepper, if you desire.

3. Once the grill is hot, cook your fish on each side for about 3-4 minutes. The fish should easily flake when testing it with a fork. (If using a broiler pan with high heat, cook on each side for 4-6 minutes.)

4. Use a medium mixing bowl to create your salsa by mixing together your avocado, tomatoes, cilantro, parsley, and macadamias. Coat your mixture by adding olive oil.

5. Serve the fish hot or warm with salsa on the side.
