Buffalo Chicken Wings in Peanut Sauce Recipe

Buffalo Chicken Wings in Peanut Sauce

Ingredients Needed:

  • 1-1/2 lbs of fresh chicken wings
  • 2 tsp of olive oil
  • 1 to 2 Tbs of fresh coconut aminos
  • 1/4 cup hot of pepper sauce
  • 2 Tbs of almond butter
  • 1/4 tsp of sea salt, if desired
  • Creates two servings

  Cooking Directions:

1. Prepare your oven by preheating to 375° F.

2. Get a rimmed baking sheet and line it with parchment paper, make sure to spread the chicken wings out as evenly as possible. Let it bake for about 20 minutes.

3. While that bakes, put your almond butter in a small pan over medium heat and soften it.

4. Once it is soft, stir in your coconut aminos, sea salt, hot pepper sauce, and olive oil. Add a small amount of hot water to the mixture if the sauce starts to over thicken.

5. Remove the chicken wings from the oven after it has cooked for 20 minutes. Brush sauce on the sides of each wing. Afterwards, place it back into the oven for about 10 more minutes.

6. Once again, remove the chicken wings from the oven and baste each wing with sauce on both sides. Bake again for 10 more minutes or until it is cooked to your satisfaction.

7. Finally, turn the chicken wings over and baste with sauce for the final time before serving.
